2008 TQP Challenge Ready for another TQP Challenge? This one is called "The Color of Your Initials" and here's how it works. 1. Take your first, middle and last names or you can use your first, maiden and last names and then you'll arrive at your initials. For instance, I'm Judy Lynn Laquidara or Judy Miller Laquidara. I could use JLL or JML for my initials. 2. Then go to one of the resources listed below (or any other resource you may find) and find colors that correspond to those letters. Keep going down the page and you'll find them in alphabetical order. For "J", I could use Jungle Green or Jazzleberry Jam For "L", I could use Lemon Yellow or Lavender 3. You must use three colors (they can be prints but they must be mostly recognizable as the color you've chosen) that correspond as closely as possible to those colors beginning with your initials. 4. You can use only those three colors, but you can use scraps (i.e., several fabrics that are the same color would count as one color). You can add one additional fabric - EITHER (1) a white, tan or ecru OR (2) a black fabric, but you do not have to add this additional fabric -- only if you want to. 5. Before you start your quilt, you must take a picture of your fabrics and share them with us - identifying which color you've chosen to match your initial. 6. Your top must be at least 50" x 50", although it does not have to be square. It can be as big as you want to make it -- no restrictions on the maximum size. 7. It does not have to be quilted (but that would be nice) but the top does have to be finished. 8. Due date is December 1, 2008. DO NOT SHOW A PICTURE OF YOUR PROJECT TIL DECEMBER 1. KEEP IT A SECRET!!! There are no prizes, no rewards . . just the the joy of knowing you participated in the 2008 TQP Challenge!
